What color is your interior?

Hi, I'm looking to buy a used 2003-2000 X and all I seem to find is the is the tan leather color. Where there any other options for color? Like grey or black.

thanks for you info.

oh one last question, if you have the twin bucket seat option in row 2, do they fold up, are you happy not having the double bench?

thanks
again

Re: What color is your interior?

No black , there may be a grey like the SD's

Re: What color is your interior?

Each color, by model, comes in one color interior. You didn't get an interior color choice, only a color package choice so-to-speak.

Re: What color is your interior?

I ordered the black 2004 XLT and had a choice between gray and tan interior - I chose the gray in leather.

Re: What color is your interior?

Eddie Bauers and Limiteds have tan (parchment) interiors only. XLTs had a choice between gray (flint) and tan (parchment).

Re: What color is your interior?

My 03 Limited has tan leather. Black Exterior.

My 02 Limited had tan leather outer and the middle of the seat and back was a dark leather. If I remember correctly it was black but it could have been a dark grey. I loved the 2-tone look of it. It's exterior was Mineral Grey.

Re: What color is your interior?

05 Mineral Gray exterior Limited with parchment interior - no choice. I would have chosen the Flint

I wish that they would have offered a King Ranch version before they quit building the X Now that would have been super IMHO and I would damn sure have one.

Re: What color is your interior?

Depends on the year you end up with....

My 02 was the DARK estate green limited with the tan interior...
MY 03 was a black limited with the tan interior...
the 05 is the eddie bauer with the two tone exterior and two tone interior leather...

Re second row bench versus buckets...
both the 02 and 03 had the "buckets" but I would not call them ANYWHERE near comfortable or "buckets" for that matter...
the second row buckets base do flip up and the back flips down once the headrest are removed, but do not offer a real flat surface in the back like the second row bench does...

the 05 has the second row bench with the HUGE fold down center section that serves as an armrest and it is MUCH more comfortable and utilitarian than the buckets ever were...

and I'm the one that thought I'd never want a bench there !

Re: What color is your interior?

We ordered our Limited with the monochrome package and it came with two tone leather and cherry wood grain.(pre-Eddie Bauer interior) The main color of the interior is Medium Parchment & the other color is called Dark Parchment. We also have the 2nd row bench and it's perfect for what we use our X for, camping, fishing, hunting, etc. The second row captain chairs would have caused us problems. We did pull the third row bench and only use it when hauling the in-laws.

The X never actually came in Tan interior, it had a fancy name like Medium Parchment or Medium Pebble.

If memory servers me....

the XLT came with a choice of either Medium Flint Gray or Medium Parchment and the Limited came only in leather, Medium Parchment or two tone Medium/Dark Parchment until the Eddie Bauer version hit the streets in 2003/2004. Soon after only the Eddie Bauer came in two tone leather, Medium/Dark Parchment. The color of the X's interior changed around 2004/2005. The color Medium Parchment was replaced by Medium Pebble; the second color of the two tone look on the Eddie Bauer became Charcoal Black.

It's all nostalgia now.
