Who is telling the truth

Hello,
I just got my jobe performane intake and it came with a optima 1000ca red top. I bought another optima at costco but it is only 910ca and I did not realize optima made different red tops until I got home. I wrote optima and asked about running two different batteries and they said not a good idea. The stronger will draw from the weaker or vise versa and weaken them both, etc. I wrote Reagan at jobe performance and he said whoever I talked to did not know what they are talking about(I emailed optima and got a return email from one of their reps). So, I already planned or running the same batteries and made a mistake and bought the wrong one. My question is, will it actual cause problems running the two different batteries? I am thinking it would not be a wise choice but not sure. Any ideas?

Probably won't affect it immediately but the smaller one will eventually go bad first, how fast depends on use and load .

Optima

Thanks for the reply. I still think I will go for a new one of the same size, the 1000c and return the other one, just to make them last as long as I can.
