Wireless headphones for DVD player?

Just purchased a 2003 Excursion earlier this week. The salesman gave me a set of wireless headphones, but the VIN on the box is for a Expedition. Build date of the X is early June.

I can't play with the DVD system as the Excursion is in the shop for installation of the TT Mirrors and repair of a scratch in the paint and is about 60 miles away.

Did the salesman give me the wrong headphones? or Did the later Excursions come with wireless headphones and he just picked up the wrong set? Will pick up the X on Saturday and need to know if I have the wrong headphones!

Re: Wireless headphones for DVD player?

I think the late 2002's and 2003's used wireless. Wish mine did!

Have a good one,
Dave

Re: Wireless headphones for DVD player?

I have an 03 and it uses wired headphones. I plan on converting it to wireless sometime in the future.

Re: Wireless headphones for DVD player?

Wireless headphones was one of the only 3 changes from '03 to '04 Model X. Also got skid plates as option, chrome running board option on Limited and EB and 54K lighted TT mirrors. That's all. I will get to see mine next Tuesday!

Re: Wireless headphones for DVD player?

I have an 03 Ultimate and mine are wired. I wish I could convert. I have the 7.3 and it was early 03 on the build date.
