x-code and c-code spring upgrade for 2000 4x4 ex

I'm researching a spring upgrade for my 4x4 7.3 psd ex. I plan to put a hitch receiver upfront and the extra weight got me thinking I should consider x-code springs. I spoke to one of the reps at Deaver springs and he suggested c-codes in the rear instead of the popular f-code or b-code mod that is so well documented on this site and others. His rationale for the c-code was that it's the same rating as the f-code but with more curvature to the spring and so a little more clearance from the bump stop. Does anyone have any thoughts on this?
