X sales going DOWN!

Wow... Take a look at this :
http://www.autosite.com/editoria/asmr/svolsu.asp

A) Is it credible?
B) I recon it's handling related, so how come Ford doesn't fix it? (Since we know the fix is easy)

Re: X sales going DOWN!

You can thank the media for that. Since day one, they've been bashing the Excursion. They keep talking about the gas mileage and how it would run over small cars.

Re: X sales going DOWN!

Ford can carry just as much blame as anyone. After all, you can't very well be expected to sell something that you do abosolutely no marketing for!

When was the last time you actually saw a TV or heard a Radio spot marketing the Excursion. No, I hold Ford responsible for this one.

Re: X sales going DOWN!

The time I noticed the most on the road was shortly after they discounted them, and offered 0.9%. Lower fuel costs (regular unleaded hit $2.00 here again) a stable economy, and job security would help also. I also agree that Ford should advertise about making a wise choice in vehicles depending on what you need. Give an example of the fuel efficiency and emmissions of the PSD Excursion versus two cars, or even the typical full size conversion van. We are left to beat off the eco-activists by ourselves since no one else informs them.

Re: X sales going DOWN!

Yes, I have noticed many more since the low interest rate and dicounts. I know it was the only way I could afford one!
