1/8 time on a e350 - Diesel Forum

have any of you tested the e350 on the strip?
what should i expect. i have 4" exhaust all the way. stage 1 diy. and dp tuner programmer. open air intake.
(stage 1 are one the way in these weekend, so have not tested with these, saturday i hope it is ready) looking forward to test it and how much increase it is going to be.

any idea what i could get at the 1/8 track?

Don't laugh.....
But a few years ago i ran a 94 E350 Ambulance (7.3, non turbo) down the 1/4 during a standby at the dragway for S&Gs.

Here's the results:

R/T: 0.986 (yeah, truck was asleep on the line!)
60': 3.042
330: 8.943
1/8: 13.898
MPH: 49.44
1000: 18.180
1/4: 21.796
MPH: 62.20

I'm sure you'll do better than this being you have quite a few mods done.

that was kinda slow but with that was with a non turbo, they are not realy fast

any else has some times to share?

I ran an 11.4. Can't remember how fast, maybe 59. All I have is an exhaust.

i ran a 16.4 a few years ago in the quarter i going to run again soon as i get it straight .

heres mine with just the dp tuner on 80 econo... before i put on the 4 inch exhaust

60 - 2.416
330- 6.811
1/8 - 10.549 @65.96 mph
1000- 13.767
1/4 - 16.519 @81.49 mph

im looking to get the egt's down and run it at 120 race setting with the 4 inch and a cold air of some sort ... ill keep u posted

i was at the local capital raceway for truck day and show and pulled a best time out of 6 runs.

1/8th 9.333 75.4 mph
1000' 12.141

1/4 14.541 / 94.25 mph

yhea that was nice for the 4x4 van. what are the mods on it? is our signature mods the only one?
size of your injectors?

she rolls out for 7500lbs lol ,mods are old style single shot injectors not the split shots that are supposed to be in it .and a DP tuner F6 so far more mods coming lol
there is trucks weighing 7500 lbs doing hi 11's in that recent HP diesel magazine

So it is the same injectors I got. Is it stage 1 160cc or bigger? Mine that just is rwd would do a litle better time if I get traction for a boosted launch. Season is over so no testing before next year. Can test with the g tech. So I get a hint of what it could do.
