Unhappy 1998 E-350 Powerstroke 7.3L Diesel Coolant change

Hi,

I bought a 1998 Ford E-350 7.3L Powerstroke Diesel. My coolant level in the reservoir is low.

I was wondering whether I should Flush & Fill completely OR
purchase a gallon of the International's Fleetrite ELC and top it off in the reservoir.

Note: I am a rookie in the world of Diesels, please advise step by step.

I would buy some coolant test strips from Napa or elsewhere and test it to see where you are. Then , I would add 50/50 Prestone green coolant , or whatever you like as long as it's rated for our trucks and add 1 bottle of the Ford coolant additive , retest and do what you have to do to keep it in spec . . .
