Sorry for the time span of getting back to this project, it had to be on the back burner for a little bit.

I have established that I have a bent spindle on the drivers side. As far as repairing the axle I have, what does a spindle repair consist of. (it looks like some cutting and welding to me?)

As far as looking for a replacement axle, a Dana 70 out of a E350 dually seem to be easier to find. It was mentioned in a reply that the E350 axle would work, but I may have to modify or swap the master cylinder because of the breaks. How hard is a master cylinder swap?

I would like to just find a e450 axle and be done with it but everybody around here wants 1500 for one, but I'm still hunting. If anybody know where I could get one or buy a truck that has one, let me know. I figure these things are getting old enough that there have to be some sitting around somewhere.

Thanks for your input

Brad
