Re: 99 rear disk on 96 e350??

96strokervan,

3.73 gear sounds like it's an F-Series rear.

Things to measure before purchase would be track width, spring perch locations, shock mount locations.

Other issues would be bolt circle diameter (SD F-Series are 8 on 170mm and E-Series are 8 on 6.5 inches), and Parking Brake hookup.

Proportioning Valve and Master Cylinder are most likely different as well...

Haven't attempted this swap myself, but these are just a few things to watch out for.

Glad to hear you got the van running again!

Stu

Re: 99 rear disk on 96 e350??

well is it like 8.8 rear ends where when you have the brackets and such theyll bolt up?
I wonder if they are the same parts as van disk set as far as the brake hard parts
I have done it on a mustang so prop and other odds and ends would be fine
I got the rear end for cheap so if nothing else I can sell it
