ABS Pump Runs when Vehicle off! 2003 7.3

the other day, the ABS pump starts running non stop (if vehicle running or not). Had to pull the big fuse to get it to quit. There is a recall on the ABS module, and I'm guessing that will cure it, but the Ford shop states there is a hard fault for the pump too. I think the module (free because of the recall) will cure all ills, but it would be nice to know if anyone else here had this problem? If so, did the ABS module cure it? I read a couple of instances with Excursions that had the same issue and the ABS module took care of things. Worried about the pump fault, so that's why I'm ask'n. Thanks.

I've had zero problems since the stealership fixed it. Sicne it was a recall, cost me zero as well.

Just what is an ABS pump?
What should I be looking for?
Thanks Guys.
