Aman Larry, What ever the Batt. Issue is, There is always a Wal-Mart near.
Even out here in the middle of No Where...lol

like i said, find a better dealer. we never have that problem

I have a Interstate distributor near me--I had my wife take a core battery back for my other van--it was a deep cycle that seemed to give up too soon. Without asking, they pro rated it for the replacement.
I just needed a replacement for the smaller of the 2 batteries in my 7.3 van--I was told that this part number (which is specific to the model) will be discontinued soon. NEVER had a problem with Interstate's dealers or policies being a mechanic for 30 years--but anybody can become a dealer for them i suppose-problem might lie with them.

My 2 cents worth. Purchased 2 new Sears Diehard 100 month batteries. 7 yrs ago. Still working great live in MN below zero temps in winter. 94 F-350 7.3 idi turbo diesel- automatic.
