Body lift for engine work on 6.0 vans ?

I've read about the F's having the cabs lifted in order to reach the head studs for replacement. Anyone know if vans are ever lifted for engine work ?

When my valvecovers came off to get to a bad injector, they removed the motormount and lowered the engine.

Re: Body lift for engine work on 6.0 vans ?

I bet dropping a motor mount is far easier.

Will the component setup be different on a 6.4l van to make lifting the van body easier to lift ?

anyone know what the differences are between lifting the van body vs. lifting the F cab ?

There will be no 6.4 Econoline this year. It will continue to use the 6.0 untill the body is redesigned.
