Broken #4 Exhaust rocker arm...

..in my 1999 E350.

I'm 3000 miles from home and had the van towed to the nearest Ford dealership. They are quoting me about $800 for the repair. Does this seem accurate or am I getting hosed? Also, what causes a rocker arm to break at 120,000 miles? Is that normal wear and tear, or should I be concerned about a more serious underlying problem.

yup. I don't really have a choice since I'm far from home and needed a tow. It only ended up being about $650. Not toooooo bad, considering i can't do that myself.
