Also you may want to pm member 444-4D he is also in Tulsa but may know of someone for you to contact.

thank you SO MUCH for the help link. I was pretty sure something like that existed here.

Got the van to the Ford dealer (we're in the middle of a long journey and with the holiday coming up I really wanted it taken care of today) and they found GAS in the tank!!! I know I filled it with diesel and my receipt even shows diesel was sold, so it isn't faulty memory. We're filling up once a day (due to driving 400 some odd miles daily - roadtrip) so I can't imagine it was anything other than the Quick Trip #37 in Bartlesville Oklahoma. I also noticed that the problem started very soon (like 5 miles) after dieseling up. (do you guys still say "gas up"?)

I only put in 1/2 a tank of bad diesel and it definitely did NOT smell like gasoline when I pumped the diesel, so I'm hoping the amount of gas in the diesel was low.

Dealership is dropping the tank, emptying it, flushing the system and replacing the fuel filter. Any other ideas?

I say fuel up.

Quick Trip is a stand up company. If you got gasoline from a pump that should have been diesel, they will make it right.

Wow. That is good to know. My receipt shows diesel was purchased and I KNOW I pumped diesel and they've already responded to my email, so we'll see.

Good to keep reciepts. If Quick-trip doesn't play ball, you insurance company may cover it, depending on what coverage you have. May want to go ahead and contact insurance company, that way if they want any proof (or evidence), you'll have easier access to it.

You know whats funny is that I always hear Kwik Trip advertise commericals on talk radio about their "top teir" gasoline & how "if you ever have a problem with our gasoline we will take care of it NO PROBLEM" thats really what they say. I have never heard any other gas station chain advertise that they back up their product so hopefully they honor their word. Although the attorney jerks may state that they didnt mention Diesel.

Now that I think of it I have even seen at Kwik Trip locations how they had that gas pledge on a sign inside the store above the urinal.

good luck
