Bus mileage numbers

Found a lot of good info in post around here for shuttle busses but can anyone tell me averages? I'm. Lookin at a small RV for me and the lady with my 2 local finds being a 97 extended van with 325k for 1k. Or a airport 12 pasenger with wheel lift dually shuttle bus. I don't believe the cargo can will get 23. I'm guessin 19 best. But no idea on the bus. I'd assume its hot 4.10 in rear. 230 on the clock. Its a 2002. 7.3 any ideas?

If it's a dually its most likely 4:10 could be 3:73 , but I doubt it. You will NEVER get 23 . without tuning and other mods unless it has recent injectors , 15-18 If you 're lucky, and you have the 3:55 and drive HWY only . . . The bus should get 10-12 consistently . . .

Yeah I thought the bus would be about that. Pry like my uncles v10. Gets 11 no matter what. He gets 11 towing and driving.

Hey! I finally get to ANSWER a question!

I have a 97 16 passenger ex shuttle bus I just made into a camper.
the bus pictures from rides photos on webshots
It has a set of Beans tranny saver injectors-243k miles-no other mods-8900 lbs. On its maiden voyage running a 50/50 mix of diesel+ veggie oil it got 11mpg over a hilly 700 mile ride.
I'd like to hear what tuning i could do to bump that up a couple of mpg....
