E-Series VansTechnical discussion of topics related to vans powered by any of the Navistar engines. This covers a broad number of years, but there isn't enough demand to split it any further.
What are the differences in gauge sets besides price? Color, lights, installation kits, etc. Does the quality of the sensors affect price, or are most all of them accurate within a degree or two and if it does, what seems to be the best type of sensor?

TRue! but when I raced boats, I used a pressure guage for speedometer(reference) more lbs = more speed. Most guys said they were going about X mph, which was about 6 more than I calculated. BUT I always whipped their but! & I also put three idntical guages on a manifold & found all three different.oiy. I dont know how to tell a good guage. Made in America? Germany? etc...

On my boat i use a gps for MPH. Pressure/paddel not accurate.
Running against current allway's showed more MPH. I have been in the east river (hells gate) speedo showed 100 plus gps was 81. Strong currents there.
