I thought this day would never come(pinch me!)The dealer left a message that the van was delivered today and monday the truck is going to Quigley down the road.So close and yet so far.How long did it take you guys to get your vans back from Quigley?Im figuring on Jan.15 or the 21.what do you guys think?...Id like to know. [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]Also do you think they would keep the truck outside I'd like to go to the dealer and get some before shots so i can post them?

Call Larry Yates, he has all the answers. That said, they keep the vans outside until it's time to start the conversion. With Larry's help you can take tons of pics. Like I said I got real lucky with mine, they had my slot open up the day the truck delivered it to them, I had it back in Atlanta in 12 days !. I saw the new stuff they're putting in the 2003's ( yours ), man they're truely bullet proof ( did you read that Aceman ?)
I think the actual conversion takes a week. Then they run it through some QC and road tests, then release.

I could feel her already.Im more worried about the wife shes gonna get jealous with this van.As far as smoking my wife says i cant smoke in the van,matter of fact she said if i want any upgrades i have to quit smoking in order to save the money up for them.where i live thats $7.00+ for each pack,thats alot of upgrades. What are they doing different this year.I really dont have a clue but i know im gonna baby this truck which is gonna be a little hard.The first thing as soon as i get it home is an alarm system by clifford.I wonder if it will work with the system from the factory that comes on the chataeu?

Buy as many cases of smokes that will fit in van while in PA.

For 2003, they're using the same front axle as the F350 (I think Larry said it's the same front axle you'd get if you'd bought a F 350 Dually!). It's a stock Ford built by Dana. I also think he said they get them direct from Ford. I guess they can get them faster and Ford has a more reliable delivery schedule. My guess is the Ford Dealers will have an easier time servicing them as well. What ever it is, it looks bigger and more massive than the Dana 60 on my 2002.
In regards to the Clifford, I don't think there's any problem with it interfacing with the Ford system. Word on the street is you really need a pro to install the Cliffords.

I know what you mean but i need all the money i can get for the mods.My wife is tuff,she says she likes the smell of a new car especially the leather.But i really need to stop cause im taxed enough already as it is since my other jobs in N.J. which means i pay Jersey and New York tax just from my pay check alone.Then to pay the SIN Tax they call it on a pack of smokes...Thats one of the reasons i went with the p.s.d. so when i go to work i dont have to pay the N.Y.Gas Tax besides also diesel fuel cheaper still than gas in Jersey.Its kinda my way of fighting back with the system.

2 weeks at Quigley, 6 weeks to get it out here. Ask Larry Yates for a pic or two before they start. I have one, but I never look at it anymore. After a while, you probably won't care to look at yours either!

Thats music to my ears concerning the front rear(oxymoroon [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shocked.gif[/img]),as far as the clifford goes i already have one in my piggy E150 and i swear by it especially now with this truck i'm really gonna need it for sure.It has that anti-car jacking feature which alone pays for it self.IMHO the Clifford outshines all the others.Thanks for the info i know MADVAN will be checking the differences for 03 model year against his when i get it.Matter of fact he'll be the second person to see the truck when i get it.Ill be knocking at his door like a little kid that has to go to the bathroom doing the pee pee dance!LMAO!!!!
