Usually E350's have full floaters. E250's not sure about. A passenger van at work is a mid 90's E250 and it's a semi floater.

Depends on the year of the Quigley. If it has a Super Duty donor axle, it's pretty easy. Just cut the Quigley brackets off, add a pass side spring perch, and you're ready to rock.

BTW..... It's now Ujoint Offroad, not clothing.

Sorry it took so long to post - I was having password problems. I'm still very happy with the conversion, but its still not 100% finished. I still need the front drive shaft and the shifter. I'm not really sure what type of shifter I need so I've been holding off (and paying off loads of debt ;-) ). On the plus side I have about 40,000 miles on the conversion and it hasn't caused any drama.

I'm finally 100% finished with my 4x4 conversion!!!! Its been over two years since I got started with the project, and I finally got the shifter in tonight. I'm very happy with this project since I didn't even change my own oil before I started this project. Chris (Ujoint) has been helpful throughout the project, and I highly commend Chris for standing behind his product for such a long period of time. Now its time to get in a little wheeling!

Congrats! I will be cutting on my spare fuel tank tomorrow! Do you have any pics of your shortened tank? Any idea of fuel capacity loss? I am guessing about 5 gallons?

I cut it an inch in front of the strap which made it REALLY tight with the transfer case, but I'm guessing I lost no more than 4 gallons. I've been living with the tank for abut a year and its been working good. I'm glad to see you're progressing with the build. With your skills it will turn out amazing.

I also have many projects going so I didn't really keep track of what I was spending. Plausible deniability makes life at home much easier ;-)

Talking Wade here, have not given up!

Nice job Dan!this bad economy has got me on the skids but i still intend to follow through with the conversion when i have the funds.i now have some rust issues to contend with on the van body but am determined to still see it through, just completed an engine swap(long story)with a low millege77K 7.3 waiting for a set of stage 1's from Bean's to finish up.

Ryan,i figured out the engine swap but was was hoping you would call ,you runnin them twin turbo's yet?

Wade
