HAS ANYONE DONE A GREASE CAR CONVERSION ON A 2000 E-350 FORD VAN I HAVE MANY QUESTIONS BEFORE I START.. AIR CLEANER CONVERSION OR WHAT . ALSO IT LOOKS LIKE ITS PRETTY DIFFICULT TO REMOVE FUEL FILTER ASSEMBLY.

I had considered it but after a lot of research I determined it would be better for me to make biodiesel from the wvo instead of trying to run a 2 tank system ...go down into the biodiesel section and check out the posts there ...
the truck guys add another heated tank, I couldn't find a location that worked for my application..
good luck bill
Same here, after much research it's easier to make B100 bio diesel IF YOU HAVE THE SPACE. (you need the same amount of space to store a large riding lawn mower) It would be nice to dump wvo into your van and go, but you really need a fair amount of mods to the engine, tanks, heaters, etc. In the amount of time you could do all the mods to your van you could build your own bio diesel processor and make 200 gallons of B100. I made a small test batch on the stove and it's pretty easy once you learn the lingo. This is a good link: http://journeytoforever.org/biodiese...html#homebrews
Good luck.

THANKS GUYS. I'M ALREADY MAKING BIO-DIESEL. I'M RUNNING 98% IN THE STOCK VAN NOW WITH NO PROBLEMS. I'M USING THE VAN FOR HVAC SERVICE. I'M MORE CONCERNED WITH WINTERTIME USE HERE IN SOUTHERN INDIANA. I THOUGHT THE HEATED TANK SYSTEM WOULD BE THE WAY TO GO FOR WINTER USE. IT WILL BE PARKED INSIDE DURING THE NIGHT THIS WINTER. I HAVEN'T BOUGHT ANY FUEL FOR ABOUT A MONTH NOW. HOW MUCH IS IT A GALLON? JUST KIDDING. I'M HALF WAY MECHANICLLY INCLINED, BUT AFTER CHANGING THE STOCK FUEL FILTER IT SEEMS LIKE A REAL JOB TO REMOVE ENTIRE FILTER ASSEMBLEY TO INSTALL THE KIT I ALREADY BOUGHT. THEY WANT $1395 TO INSTALL IN LOUSVILLE AT THE GOODOIL SHOP. TO MUCH MONEY.ANYBODY ELSE WANT TO INSTALL FOR ME FOR LESS MONEY, THATS CLOSE TO SOUTHERN INDIANA. I HAVE ACCESS TO ABOUT 75 GAL OF GREASE A WEEK, SO I WANT TO BURN THE GREASE ALL I CAN 2000 FORD E-350 EVERY THING STOCK. AMS OIL 15 QTS. K&N OIL FILTER.171000 MILES ON TRUCK, 1000 SINCE I START USING BIO

I have two E350's running on B100 for a year now or 10,000 liters 2,500 US Gallons on the west coast of Canada. No need to do anything just keep an eye on your fuel lines on one of the E350's the fuel return lines started breaking down near the filter . The other one is fine . I put a Racor filter and Racor fuel heater on a togo switch on one of the vans .When I make a bad batch of Biodiesel I put it in that van. I just plug it in at night. Once you get going they run great even better then Dino Diesel .

I've got an E350 Greasecar. The air filter comes off real easy on mine. There is not much space in the engine bay for the added parts you need, but I can show you what I did. Email me if you have specific questions.
i haven't installed system yet, I'm looking here at all these parts and hoses wondering ,humm. Right now i'm running bio in my main tank , with no problems, i'm planning on installing the kit before winter. i would appreciate any pics or maybe i can call you if you can give me a number, i've had my air cleaner off to replace the fuel filter. can you tell me an easy way to remove the filter asembly, i see it must be removed for the kit installation, maybe there is no easy way , but can you tell me how you removed yours. thanks kenny

The FUEL filter assembly? No. I've never taken that off. You shouldn't need to in order to install the greasecar system. I'm going to take a bunch of new pictures of my E350 Mini Bus and post them over the next few days. I'll be in touch.
Very cool, it would be great to see how you did the conversion. Are there any issues with injector longevity due to the different fuel? The plungers don't tend to wear? I am really interested in these alternative fuel conversions. It seems they would be far supperior to a Hybrid car that gets half of its power from the coal fire electrical grid?

hey, I dunno if you still want info on a greasy van. I got a 1999 PS e 350. now running on strait grease. I used the Plantdrive kit. but in any case i can send you pics, schematics or whatever if you need help planning it out.
actually, if you've already installed it i love to find out that particulars of your system. us used a grease car kit right? i have a few problems with mine. for one thing i got lazy and installed the 6 port fuel valve on the frame rail near the tank. so consequently my purge time is like 15 minutes!
I'd say you bought the wrong system. The vegistroke.com system is the best for running SVO in a PSD. But I have taken my fuel bowl out. I got it out from the doghouse side, took the turbo off and got it from that end. It only has 2 bolts holding it down.
30,000 miles on grease.
