Fuel Minder or trip Monitor

Hello Folks,

I ordered a PS/D van on June 30 and I expect it any day now. (I cant wait). We have been married for 37 years and this our second new vehicle. When we get the new van I will try to share the excitement with you. The question that I have for you experienced Ford folks is this. My dealer said that the fuel minder or trip meter guage that I have seen in many of the Ford cars is not availble in the vans. I was wondering if you could buy these anywhere else to fit in the van. Thanks for your information.

Re: Fuel Minder or trip Monitor

While not a direct answer, I am told by those who use them that these are at the very best merely an "approximation" device. You may want to go to a straight fuel flow meter if economy is your goal....

Re: Fuel Minder or trip Monitor

Never seen one in a van. I love my 99 PSD van though, I'm sure you will love yours. Congradulations!!! Enjoy it.
