E-Series VansTechnical discussion of topics related to vans powered by any of the Navistar engines. This covers a broad number of years, but there isn't enough demand to split it any further.
I have started looking for another van and have run into a couple of dealers that are getting vans out of auctions in florida....looked at vans in chesapeake, va (fla fleet purchases) and another dealer in NC that buy out of fla....both claim they are off-lease vans but every one is pretty much spec'd the same , with only a few differences...
I have a dealer/friend locally that goes to the local auctions in NC and has offered to buy for me (small fee to do so) and I understand and do not mind but there are no cargo vans here to pick from...
If I could find a Fla dealer I would do the same deal, pay him to buy for me...
I assume these are the Manhaim Auctions...and most likely vans out of GE commercial fleet services

(know u looked there too). weird history but it also bought by a reg ford dealer (from ny? cant remember will look)that had bought it at auction in florida....from ford, as a left over. never titled until ford dlr did so. dont know if same auctions in fl but interesting. i'm near guy in chesapeake if you see he has one again. good luck

The guy from A&K offered to buy my Van for 17k the first day it was out in Autotrader. Didn't realize it until I saw the number he left in my e-mail in one of his Ebay ads.
The Orlando Auto Auction and Lakeland Auto auction are two of the largest I know of for Fleet and Off lease vehicles. I think they are both run by manheim, not sure though. Unfortunately do not know a dealer to hook you up.

the computer is the original PCM....programmed with a safe tow/80 hp flip switch..
It was programmed by Bill Cohren aka ASEMechanic here on diesel-stop,when he lived in charlotte, nc...he works for Edge Products, and now at Diesel Power...
I sold my superchips programmer, and upgraded to Bills programs..
PCM was tested by Jody Tipton at DP tuner ...its good to go
I had to go to another program when I installed newer injectors and Jody programmed an 01 PCM to run the AD injectors...
I kept the programmed 98 PCM as a spare..

Funny you mention that.
I have seen lots of those here in FL.
They seem to gravitate to this state.
There must be some loophole in our auction laws that make it easy to 'launder' them here. ???
Most look nice for the most part.
However you can spot them if you look.
