Has anyone tried installing the amsoil bypass filter
in their van with the psd. I've opened the hood on my E-350 and I don't think an Alaska misquito would fit in there. Haven't layed on the ground and looked from underneath yet but assume that would be the route to go.

Re: Has anyone tried installing the amsoil bypass filter
My van is older (83) and I haven't installed one on this vehicle, (I have on a car). I think that down on the frame would your only option. If you have the filter, take it down under the van and see where you can mount it.
Good luck,
Gary

If you mount the filter on the frame under the engine, won't you drain the cooling system every time you change the filter?
Also, this filter is designed to be used as a bypass, i.e. line split into two lines, if the filter is mounted lower than it's "split" line will you get any coolant flow thru the filter?
Perhaps addition of two shut of valves would be needed too.
