Heater function question and window elevator.

Hello.

Again I hope someone can help me.

I have a ford van 1990 mod clubwagon 7,3D

The heater in my car has two switches, one for the front of the car and one for the back. the front is working but the switch for the back is not working all the time, sometimes it works and sometimes it does not. how does this work, does the heater has two engines or just one ? how do I fix this, can anyone tell me wat to do, can it be the switch ? I hope ayone can help me with some suggestions.

The seccond problem is the window on the driver side. it has worked all the time but to day it cut off. I try to push the button for that window but it would not work, the button seems to be a little slack, can that be the problem, can it be fixed or Do I have to buy a new one ? anyone has a suggestion for wat it can be ?

best regards from Tommy

Re: Heater function question and window elevator.

Do you have heat and A/C or heat only in the rear.

As for the window all power goes through the drivers switch to the pax side. Could be contacts or a motor.... it has a Circuit breaker.
There have been reports of the LH/RH door wiring where the rubber sock goes to the cab having wires break inside there. Do electrical tests first.

Some times the shock absorbing part of the window motor gearing will disintegrate and you may or may not have the window rise of fall, but the motor will be turning.

Re: Heater function question and window elevator.

I fixed the window problem to day, it was the window switch on the door, it was to loose.

About the rear heat blower problem, I still got no working heat blow in the back of the car, nothing happens when I turn the heat blower switch for the rear heat blower.

The front heat blower is working but not the rear one.

I have to switch for the heat blowe units, one for the front blower and one for the rear (behind the driver seat) blower. I have check the fuses and they are ok. Im gona check the wiring to morrow to see if that is the problem, and test the rear heat blower as well.

Re: Heater function question and window elevator.

Check the engine fuse box for the (A) fuse 60 amp it is for the aux heater.
