How to attach turbo shield with non-ebpv pedestal?

I'm going to replace my pedestal with the non-ebpv ones. The only ones I can find are for the truck and they don't have a turbo shield. Has anybody replaced their pedestal and if so how did you attach the shield?

I cut a piece of flat stock to fit across the pedastal on the right side and drilled two holes so that 2 bolts that hold the pedastal go through it. Then I put the brack on top of the steel flat stock in ti's original position and welded them together. It worked out great. Hope this helps.

Thanks a lot! That was kind of the approach I thought I would have to take.

That looks like a really good option. Its good to know that if I don't figure it out immediately the world won't come to an end. Thanks.
