how many miles do you have on your vans??

just trying to see what type of mileage some of you guys put on your vans in a year.

i put on about 160,000 kms(100,000 miles) a year and have 461,000kms (288,000miles) on the ol' girl now. it is a 2000 e-350.

i am gunning to get 1,000,000kms(625,000miles) before any motor replacement or vehicle replacement. well we will have to see about that. but i will try my best in the coming years.

Re: how many miles do you have on your vans??

In 1.5 years of owning my ambulance I put 35000 miles on it. How the heck do you put so many miles on yours?. Do you ever have time to stop for a bathroom break

Re: how many miles do you have on your vans??

I put around 13 to 14K per year, but it is not my daily driver ... used mainly for RV towing and any long trips.

That's low, but my '78 E250 with a 460 was bought 1/79 and finally sold 7/02 after over 23years and had 136K miles on it almost all towing (well over 100K).

Re: how many miles do you have on your vans??

23,500 miles since October 9. 2002 when picked up from the dealer. Only problems have been (2) passenger side headlights due to condensation and the drivers bottom seat cover need replacing. The plastic strip cracked that keeps it in place. Everything under warranty.

Re: how many miles do you have on your vans??

Around 17,250, thanks to a short commute and lots of "shop-time" over the last 2 years. Looking forward to an excuse to actually drive it farther than 200 miles from home. But thanks to 2 jobs and a long "list" it may be while yet...
