E-Series VansTechnical discussion of topics related to vans powered by any of the Navistar engines. This covers a broad number of years, but there isn't enough demand to split it any further.
I was driving home from work tonight around 6:30 and hit another deer.
I was driving about 45mph on a main drag and noticed a brown figure approaching me on the passenger side.
I immediately applied the brakes and slowed up a little but the deer still hit my passenger right front portion of the Road Armor.
The hit was solid but I felt nothing except a little bump.
The deer was actually the 10 point buck that everyone including myself has seen roaming the streets of Williamsville.
I looked in the rear view mirror and saw him get up and stagger away.
I should have grabbed my toolbelt in the van and threw the hammer at him as this would have been the only buck this year.
Tomorrow I'll drive over to the scene and find his tracks as he may have ran to a spot to die as most deer do.
Ther was zero damage to the van!
I'am certainly glad I bought the Road Armor bumper!

Great news, now get them 2' removeable spikes(kind of what athletes use) for the Road Armor and you won't have to even slow down to bring the trophy/dinner home However, not sure how you'd pass whatever if any state safety type inspections you have in NY. You'd be safe, just doubt anyone else would be
