I think it cost me about $400 to do a full service and I did it all myself

$45 Antifreeze $30 Ford additive.

$100 for 4 gallons Rotella 5-40 Full Synthetic and a Ford oil filter and tax.

$198 for 20 quarts of Mobil 1 Synthetic Transmission Fluid and 4 quarts of Amsoil Extreme Synthetic 75-90 rear end grease.

$45 Hastings Fuel Filter and $43 Ford Automatic Transmission Filter.

$461 total and I probably forgot some things.

My air filters are good for right now. Everything else was pretty good too but winter and the cold cold is only weeks away here so I went synthetic the whole way. I'm scared but I made the hard choice. Now I will live with it. In Alaska this would be normal procedure. I'm going to syphon my power steering and put synthetic in there too and put new brake fluid in the master cylinder.

My tank heater ended up costing about $225 with me doing the install, I also did evrything else myself.

I'm running all this stuff year around and burning #1 diesel in the winter months.

Congats on your DIY job. I just did my first coolant flush last weekend. The worst problem I had was not looking for the fire ants before I crawled under my truck.
