installing these accessories

I contacted Bob at Dieselsite about the these products and he was not familiar with installing them on a van. Do you see any problems with these going onto a 1998 7.3? Also if you know of any links or tips on the installation that would be a big help. These products may be made for a truck, I don't know.

Dieselsite coolant filtration system. Bob thought someone had done this on a van and put it under the bumper.

Dieselsite AC control valve

Dieselsite transmission filter kit. (has spin on filter)

Dieselsite dual bypass oil filter kit ( same as Amsoil filter kit with Dieselsite mounting brackets )

4wd deep transmission pan

V10 gasser trans cooler

Amsoil synthetic oil and trans fluid.

Thanks !

syn oil/fluids
Larger trans cooler

no comment on the fuzzy dice

Re: installing these accessories

Ac control valve...check... froze my nuts off last July with the AC on

Deep trans pan...check...works fine just get the 4wd filter for that pan

If your paying for the bypass you might as well put in the good stuff

Trans cooler from summit works I don't see why a v10 gas unit wouldn't work?

Re: installing these accessories

As stated in above posts.
Vannis are on their own. You can get kits for most things and mod it for the van.
Heck! My exhaust system is from a f-series modded, due to back then no one made an exhaust for it. (97)

Modded fuzzy dice into a smelly tree!!!

I have the Coolant and Trans filters on my van installed under my front bumper (helps to have a larger bumper for protection as well as leftover bumper brackets from prior installations). Also an Amsoil Dual-Gard under the driver's door (this is not the Dual-Remote, however). I think I have PICS of them below, but I need to update the set with more current versions.

(No fuzzy dice either.)

Re: installing these accessories

My filter coolant filter hangs from drip gutter where vacuum hoses attach to manifold, just to the left of master-cylinder. I can take pics if you are interested.

Re: installing these accessories

Thanks !! Pics would be good. I have a standard size chrome bumper so I don't know if it will fit behind it or not. The more choices the better.

Re: installing these accessories

pic's here http://photos.thedieselstop.com/show...hp?photo=31444
and http://photos.thedieselstop.com/show...hp?photo=31443
and lastly http://photos.thedieselstop.com/show...hp?photo=31442
hope these help. And one more thing to consider, when I change canister, I dont have to worry about shuting off any valves, losing coolant, cause its so high.(doing it cold of course)
