mirrors

Ford has such fine mirrors for the F series, but they seem to have forgotten those of us that purchased E350 vans to pull TT. Does anyone know of a quality after market mirror?

Re: mirrors

I think the best aftermarket (removeable) mirrors are the McKesh mirrors. You can see them at http://www.hensleymfg.com/mckeshmirrors.html

Re: mirrors

I asked the same question a while ago as you can see:
http://forums.ford-diesel.com:8080/u...ML/000043.html

I ended up buying the Velvac mirrors and obsolutely LOVE them. They are great. I bought them at my local Ford dealer. Manual mirrors were about $190, power/heated were $360. They were A LOT more purchased directly through Velvac. There are pictures on the website listed below:

Re: mirrors

I'm not interested in a pulling-a-trailer mirror, but I feel a larger than stock mirror is needed for regular driving/parking. I'd like a mirror permenently mounted to the stock bracket. When it's angled for driving, I can't see down to the car I'm trying to parallel park next to, and if I angle it down, it's no good for driving. A stick-on convex would take up too much of the stock mirror. I found a mirror at Autozone that is marginally wider but only a fraction higher at about 9"w x 6"h. I feel that more height on the mirror is whats really needed, or more room to stick a 3" convex on there. Anyone know a source?
