Unhappy Missing my ScanGuage

Well, I sent my ScanGuage in for the upgrade to X-Guage. Today I drove the van to work - I actually had to watch the road! Sure hope my foot remembered what to do to get up to 20+ mpg on the road.

Seriously, I'm looking forward to the trans temp and the ability to list trip parameters in the Guage screen

Mike

I know what you mean. I've had my XGauge for 3 weeks now and I love it..got it mainly for the tranny temp but like that I can see 3 other gauges as well.

Can the scanguage be programmed to display engine coolant tempreature, engine oil temperature and boost pressure on the 6.0 liter diesel? I want to monitor these temperatures while towing my trailer.

Thanks, Steve

I don't think you can get engine oil temp. Trans temp yes, oil temp no.

You can check on the ScanGauge site to find out what you can and cannot display.

Thanks, I'll give them a call. I want to monitor the coolant temp and oil temp so I can see if my oil cooler is getting clogged up. These two temps should be within 15 degrees and mine got up to 17 degrees when I had a tech scan my truck last month. I have already had the EGR cooler and head gaskets changed 2 years ago. Lately there have been some clogged oil coolers reported and I saw a couple at the dealership on the techs bench and it was scary.
