Need a stock intake for a 96 7.3 E350 please.

Long story short the 20 passenger bus at church needs a stock intake. Mainly the resonator box but it would be nice to replace the stock hose also.

Seems one of our members that is not really diesel savvy was going to move the bus to another parking lot. They decided that it needed help starting and sprayed something in behind the air cleaner. It backfired and blew the resonator box up. I'm hoping it didn't kill the turbo or hurt anything else. I'm going to start here and work my way down.

If you have upgraded your stock intake and have the old one sitting around I'd be happy to pay shipping to VA or whatever.... I just need to get this beast running again. I have taken over sole responsibility for the bus and it's maintenance. It has to stay stock per insurance.

Please contact me directly at mjrchode@yahoo.com as I am working on a contract out of town and will not be able to check the forum until next weekend.

Thx,
Shane

I did the same with mine yrs. ago. Someone also sprayed either and blew up the resonator box. No damage done. I don't think you have any damage or debris going to the turbo. Remember, it blows outward! I'm planning on getting rid of my intake and resonator but you will have to wait a while. You can either buy a new resonator, I don't remember them being all that much, or you can plug the hole like a lot of guys are doing.
