Nerf Bars

I may be the only one crazed enought to look for these but has anyone ever found a supplier of nerf bars for a van? The Quigley 4x4 diesel (which is one beautiful conversion by-the-by) is only about 3-4 inches higher off the ground but it is a hell of a step for my dad (he is 90 this year) or my girlfriend (who is about 5 ft none). Since I have a habit of cutting rest area exits short, I need a side step bar heavy enough to beak off those upright posts when I run into them....

Of course, I could learn to drive more carefully but since that seem to be my only bad habit I would hate to supress it only to learn I have become a serial killer to make up for it.

Re: Nerf Bars

Yes, J&J enterpises have nerf bars for vans. Actually, they are a "Nerf n Step", which I think are better than regular nerf bars. I will be getting some for my van when it arrives.....any day now. They are also Stainless steel, which will be nice for the MN winters. You can find them on www.j-jent.com I got a quote of about $520, and they sent me some pictures. If you want me to send them to you, let me know by sending me an e-mail at depottey@visi.com

Re: Nerf Bars

Thanks huge. I've been looking for months. They appear pretty stout to you? I'll probably just go ahead and order them if they fit and all.

Re: Nerf Bars

Let me know how they turn out and what you think of them. I am also thinking of ordering some SS wheel flares from them.
