OBD I on a 96 E350?

My sticker on top of the radiator says OBD I. I thought OBD II came out in 96. Is this right and does anyone else have the same?

My Van is a 95 and is OBDII . . . yours is to. Only the early 94's are OBDI if I remember . The sticker is wrong.

That's what I thought. But straight from Ford. That is what the sticker says, I took a second look cross eyed. Is there another way of really verifying? I talked to my smog guy and he told me he has seen 94 vehicles with OBD II.
Reason I'm asking is I want to get a scan tool and don't know if it is the same or not for I and II.

The difference in OBD I and OBD II connectors is the OBD II is in the passenger compartment and is a 16 pin trapazoid and OBD I is a 6 pin with a separate "jumper" wire and is located in the engine compartment. Your DLC should be under the edge of the dash on the right side of the steering wheel.

Your sticker says OBD-1 since that's what it was required to meet in that year (vehicles 8600-10,000 pounds). But all of the vans after '94 were OBD-2.

Ok thanks for the input. Mine connector is under dash left side of the steering wheel. Can anyone count how many pins are actually used? Just for comparison.

My resource said the right side, but at least it is OBD II. Here is a link that will say what each "pin" is used for:
