E-Series VansTechnical discussion of topics related to vans powered by any of the Navistar engines. This covers a broad number of years, but there isn't enough demand to split it any further.
I'M surprised Quigley does not work closer with Ford on the design changes for the following 2-3 years ahead of time.
If you think about it, the 2008 and the 2009 vans look very close to each other?
I would love to have a 4x4 van, but I would not use it very much in Florida.
Most of the beach turf is off limits. And the 2wd van has a smoother ride for the most part.
I always wanted a Benz van full size, but I would be disappointed with the power in it, compared to the 7.3L Stroke.
Would it be possible to have a 91 converted by them to 4x4?
naw, gonna have to find another route for that age van. there are some cheap 4x4 vans out therre that age with body rot you could rob parts off. damn sure cheaper than $11k.

yeah I thought about that the next day after I posted it and realized that its a slim chance and even if they did it it would probably be cost ineffective. yeah I have seen a few 4x4s of my vintage so I know they are out there. I love my van but I know that I would use it for trips more often if it was 4x4. Right now I have a Jeep wrangler that I tow behind every once in awhile. Would rather just drive my van if I could though.
