Quigley will convert an existing van now.

What massive changes were made to the 2009 van that has caused this?

Quigley will convert your existing van now.

That's very cool,

I'M surprised Quigley does not work closer with Ford on the design changes for the following 2-3 years ahead of time.

If you think about it, the 2008 and the 2009 vans look very close to each other?

I would love to have a 4x4 van, but I would not use it very much in Florida.
Most of the beach turf is off limits. And the 2wd van has a smoother ride for the most part.

I always wanted a Benz van full size, but I would be disappointed with the power in it, compared to the 7.3L Stroke.

Would it be possible to have a 91 converted by them to 4x4?

yeah I thought about that the next day after I posted it and realized that its a slim chance and even if they did it it would probably be cost ineffective. yeah I have seen a few 4x4s of my vintage so I know they are out there. I love my van but I know that I would use it for trips more often if it was 4x4. Right now I have a Jeep wrangler that I tow behind every once in awhile. Would rather just drive my van if I could though.

Don't know where you're located, but Salem-Kroger in CA will convert anything, last I checked. You can find them online...
