Steering Stabilizer

Who has installed steering stabilizers? What brand did you install? JC Whitney has two sizes (Heavy Duty and Extra Heavy Duty) of Hackethorn brand stabilizers. My previuous Chevy Van was a much better tracker, and I'm trying to stop the constant steering corrections with this Ford Van. I had it alligned by a truck specialty shop that was very familiar with the Ford Vans. Front end componants are all fine. I am taking a trip to Florida in 6 weeks, and I really want to have this solved by then. I really appreciate any help.

Re: Steering Stabilizer

I'm not referring to a sway bar. I am referring to the shock absorber type steering stabilizer that attaches to the front steering componants.

Re: Steering Stabilizer

Do a search for Steer-Safe on the web, also you can find this product at Camping World on their website, I think they also stock them at their stores. Around 400 bucks I think.

Re: Steering Stabilizer

I found a Heckethorn at http://rough.roughcountry.com/stabilizers.htm that I purchased for around $70 shipped.
