Suspension Mods?

I'm really looking into an E-350 purchase in the next few years and was wondering if you guys knew if the suspension mods that the Excursion guys have done to their rigs, poly-eurathane bushings, sway-bars,shocks, etc. can be done to the full size vans? Thanks

Re: Suspension Mods?

I know some of them can be done to the vans, but don't know if all the above apply. The bushings press into the leaf springs, and shocks are simply a different bolt up. The front suspension on the van is different than on the 2wd excursions or pickups. I am not sure how the new design trucks and vans cross over now. It used to be things were similar in some cases. As long as the twin traction beam or whatever is in use, the same bushing should work. I think the arms are a little different, but the bushings should be available.

Re: Suspension Mods?

I have installed stiffer bushings in the front, 4x4 gas shocks, and a sway bar in the rear. It makes a noticable differnce in how the van rides and drives, and it does not ride hard. It Still has the nice ride.
