Time before overhaul for PSD? - Diesel Forum

In keeping an eye out for a work van, I've come across something interesting. Ex-expeditor vans, say 98 model, 500,000 miles, great bodies. Anyone have experience with a PSD with that number of miles? Does anyone know the TBO the engine was designed for?

Also, as I understand it, the PSD is very expensive to overhaul. Any experience with that?

Also, if one could find one of the new auto trans, would the computer be compatible with the older van?

Hollywood: check out www.expeditersonline.com their classified section...I don't know what has happened to my computer..I just defragged it but I think a demon resides inside now and the exorcist is due any moment now....I haven't been able to send you a private msg even to your website address...go figure...bd
