TRAILER WIRING

finally got around to hooking up the trailer brake controller, and i can't seem to find the wires up under the front hood. in the back, i found the blue and orange wires for the brakes & power, but the location up front is sorta hard to find. any ideas?? thanks, pete

Look right above the brake booster. There is a big wire loom that runs over to the passenger side, the wires should be tucked in with this harness. You may have to peel back the black plastic protector to locate the wires.

I ordered my E350 with the trailer towing package. It has a six pin male plug near the e-brake mechanism under the dash. Don't know if they are all like this. If so, you can buy a pig-tail with the female end at Camping World for less than $10. I'm sure that other RV shops would have them as well. Makes the wiring for the controler a snap.
