Tranny Dipstick Needed - Anyone Have one?

I just bought a 1985 E-350 6.9l diesel equipped with a C-6 tranny. While checking the ATF the stick got inadvertantly stepped on and bent at the end. Tried to straighten it. It Snapped (OF COURSE)! I am now in need of a new dipstick. Does anyone out there have one for sale? All of the ones I've tried are too short by a couple of inches.

Go to http://www.pathfinder-vans.com/shoptalk
A guy's selling a complete almost new hub to hub frontend w/ springs for 1800 bucks. It's a Dana 44 that came out of a new E-350. Look under the PARTS FOR SALE entry, a guy named Steve.

Re: Tranny Dipstick Needed - Anyone Have one?

Thanks 4x4 Van Man for the link. Not a bad deal if a fellow wanted to go the rout of a dana 44. I think I'm gonna hold out for a 60 up front. So I can be sure not to tear it up slogging around in mud with the cattle in tow ! I'm still in the design/decision making stage on this project and wanna make this critter as farmproof as possible
