Trojan from Banks Six gun site

I went to take a look at the new Six Gun tuner kit link from the Ford Enthusiast site and when I cliked on their products link I got a trojan virus alert from Norton... virus named JS Scob Trojan!inf on several files their site downloaded to my browser.

Just a heads up for everyone, don't click on the Banks Six Gun link in this forum (top of page) untill they fix their site or you'll get some nasty little surprizes.

Yes I got it too..!!! [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/mad.gif[/img] There was a post about rear end gears and fuel mileage up in the 99 and up SD forums and as soon as I went there I got the alert. Sorry you got it but I'm glad I wasn't just going crazy. I've never got a virus from a site like that before [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shrug.gif[/img]

Thanks for the "heads up"....I almost never check any other forums except Vans and Towing&Hauling. Glad you posted here.

OFF TOPIC:

There seems to be a lot of bad stuff going around. I upped my security level to high on my browser.

As a result, it can be difficult to do too much on a lot of sites unless you designate the site as a "trusted site".

I did that for Thedieselstop. I trust Jason.

There is a good program called Spybot that you can download to get rid of Spyware. Don't be surprised if you have it on your computer and don't know it. [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif[/img]
