E-Series VansTechnical discussion of topics related to vans powered by any of the Navistar engines. This covers a broad number of years, but there isn't enough demand to split it any further.
I received the van back late last night.
A test drive with the new Dana 80 axle,Ts 4 position chip and Ts Billet Air Intakes proved to be the best ride I ever had in the van to date!
The intakes lowered my egt's an average 85-100 degrees even in the 140hp setting. The van is much more responsive off the line and on the highway.
The Dana 80 is totally bulletproof and the van feels much more stable when driving and turning on winding roads.
The Arb locker works very well when performing holeshots!
No wait....I don't do that!
Yours for info.
COOL
I need (want)those intakes. Now off to the dyno!!!
Cool, glad ya like 'em
I'm still waiting to get my turbo back from Bell Turbo, should be done tomorrow, but I have to work 100 miles in the opposite direction
OK, memory is failing me. Why did you put the TS air intakes on (besides they look cool)? How can they lower EGT's? This sounds interesting..... might need to work some more OT to have another toy to install whilst things are already torn apart.....

BTW, the wider track really changes the van for the better doesn't it? Have you powered through a right turn yet? If not, you will soon... fully loaded or not

...and the List keeps growing. I'm gonna need another piece of paper!
Does this use different air filters? And where'd-ja get it?

Next on the List: a blown tranny!
Colin, the intakes were installed as I received a good deal on them along with a 4 position chip. Plus, the intakes will reduce egt's,allow more breathing of the motor at high rpms. plus, they look
I have powered into both right and left turns with my 9500lb van and can really tell the difference the wider stance gave me. The van is "much more" stable now and finally has a bulletproof driveline.
Msnunes, the intakes are mounted on the right and left of the engine.
They (intakes) do not interfere with the air filter as they are nowhere near them. Check out my photos and look in the "More Modifications photo section to see them.
Dennis at tsperformance has them available at http://www.tsperformanceproducts.com/ford/intake.asp
The intakes do work.
I cannot say how much I paid for them.
Dennis has a lot of great products and will work with you on your purchase.
