TT mirrors on my E350

Need a little help mounting stock Ford TT mirrors from a E550 to my E350. Do I need to take the door panels off to get to the mirror fasteners? Any help would be greatly appreciated, Pete

Yes, you will likely need to take off some of the inside door paneling to get to everything. It's just a few screws and clips here and there and it pops off. Not too hard.

Actually if you do a search, sometime in early April or late March another member posted pics and detailed step by step installation procedures on your mod! They were very well written and understandable.

I would try and find em but I am too lazy right now!

Re: TT mirrors on my E350

Thanks for the write up thats going to be a big help. Started to take apart Sunday but when it came to the wiring i was not sure if i should just cut the old mirror off. The new mirrors are not powered and i was thinking of just cutting them off at the mirror and taping the ends up does this sound like the right thing to do?
Thanks for the help, Pete
