A few weeks ago I started a thread on Jody Tipton's econo flashed pcm and wanted to give an update while still on the road.
Original thread is on this link:

I posted the following as a replay to another post and realised it would make for a great update to the original thread, as some of the other "vanners" here have been wanting a progress report from me ......sooooooooo........here goes....
All reports below are while pulling my 2,800lb popup trailer and right on about 1,200lbs cargo inside van.
My mileage was 12.5 before the econo fashed pcm arrived.
First full tank after was a tad over 10.5 , second and third tanks were 12.5 and 12.75 respectively (getting better.
After those first three tanks the mileage went up to 14.25 with cruise set to 69mph, 15.1 with cruise at 65mph and was going up over 16 with cruise set at 60mph (couldn't burn the fuul tank at 60mph because of lack of time on trip).
When I put it in my van I still had about 1/3 tank left before a fillup was needed so I used that to hot dog a little with the right foot and all I can say is this thing has GOBS of power .
All full tank mpg's stated above were with the cruise set (even the 10.5mpg tank. Only exceptions being having to go through a couple of mountain passes going to Sab Diego and coming back out.
I had to ride the pedal a bit through the passes (pushing the temps and power as much as possible) and was able to keep up around 55mph without pushing the limits to hard. I still did over 14mpg going through these passes. The passes were from close to sea level up to 4,100ft so I am pretty happy with what it did for me.
I do not know yet (will be October before I know) what the mileage will do when I am running with no cargo and not pulling the trailer behind me. Totally empty I was previously gettin up around 17mpg (I don't really count that though because I rarely run empty with no trailer behind me).
I am getting an odd ses light (I thought it had stopped until it hit again yesterday morning). I can drive all day, put the van up at night with no problems and have an ses (with no readable code that should set the light) set in the morning when I start it up (gotta figure that one out). This could possibly be from using a newer flash of pcm (or I could have Autoenginuity set up wrong enough to not be able to read the code). Was not getting this light with original pcm....soooo....who knows. The light will stay on until I clear out the codes. I definately do need this fixed so that it does not become the story of "crying wolf" (nothing wrong, nothing wrong, nothing wrong, BAM......something really is wrong and I assume it's "just" that little quirk)
Will be meeting up with Jody in a month and a few days to hook up the van to his equipment for some "live tweaking" to squeeze the most out for me
I am still being a guinea pig for the van tuning and am very happy with his care, customer service, friendliness and product.
At the moment I am in San Antonio, Tx running between Fort Sam Houston and Lackland AFB twice a day with no trailer and it looks like I may be doing about 15.5mpg in some fairly heavy stop and go traffic on the freeway (still carrying most of the cargo though).
Will know more about this particular milleage when I fill up to leave town Friday.
I will try to answer any questions with a much shorter and more concise answer LOL!!!!!!! (yeah right)
