Van Exhaust Kit???????

To all you vendors out there. Does anyone make a van exhaust kit with everything included in it to do the install yourself? No cutting, no bending, no welding, no fabracation,no modifing down pipes, just bolt it up? Or perhaps one of you can make up a kit with modified parts from your knowledge of previous installed on vans? If so let me know as I am interested. I'm also looking for that. I'd like a kit to get two separate systems, one for each manifold, maybe low resistant mufflers and some slightly oversized pipes to get both more mpg, power and a better sound.

Re: Van Exhaust Kit???????

I would probably be satisfied with a 4 inch down pipe and a 4 or 5 inch exhaust. I think the down pipe is the biggest problem with the vans. The attach angle is different and the routing is different to clear the dog house. Someone must have done this and can duplicate it? As for the hangers I think you could use the clamps with hangers welded on them? I am glad I am not the only one out there looking for this.

Re: Van Exhaust Kit???????

When funds become available, I'm thinking of doing what sixiron did HERE which is as close as you'll probably come to a well matched and made aftermarket exhaust. I just need to convince myself that I will accept loosing my EBPV system and any warranty implications that go with that engine modification.

You could probably hack up your existing DP flange and weld it onto the DPPI DP, sort of like Aceman had to do, but using the Van Turbo adapter that mates directly to the DPPI DP is a much better IMO flowing system.

Re: Van Exhaust Kit???????

Does anybody know if the DPPI DP set-up would work on a 97 PSD E350?

I'm thinking about just doing the renegade exhaust after the down pipe. But a nicer downpipe wouldn't hurt.
