van specific tank mods

After talking with Dennis yesterday and going over the challenges I had with my tank, I think I have a van specific design for the return line inside the steel midship tank. I am going to mock it up and drop the tank (again!) as soon as it is empty enough to do so. I had my Eureka! moment while in the ever important thinking room. Instead of a tube with two 90* bends in it (like the pickups use) I think one 45* bend will work and it will be coupled to the sender with the black hose off the mixing valve as it is rated for immersion in diesel fuel. The metal tubing would be clipped to the side of the pan at the bottom of the tank with something similar to the clip that keeps the fill hose in place inside your toilet tank (I told you I was in the thinking room!). This would make it easier to put the pick up assembly into the tank as the return faces one way and the sender float faces the opposite way. I have picture up in my gallery now of the van sender assembly(see my sig line for link). I'lll work on getting the mock up done for my proposed fix.
