W-i-d-e mirrors

Does anyone have a pic of the big mirrors (the big ones that extend about 2' beyond the door, about a foot high, with the stick-on spot on the lower left corner; used on RV's & other DRW cutaways) on the post-1997 E's? Even better, does anyone have a part number so my boss can deal with a clueless dealer? We had a service truck snap the left mirror off the mount of a 2001 E-450, & can't find a replacement (due to previously-mentioned dealer clown). A $50,000 bus out of service because of a $50 mirror...crazy.

If you have the mirrors that I think you have they are Velvacs. I needed one for one of my cube vans and bought them here, Velvac

HERE are the SS RV Ford mirrors on my 2001 Van and were exactly the same stock Ford mirror I had on my 1978 Van. They even have "Ford" stamped on the mirror head. As I recall they are called "SS RV swing out mirrors" ... I call them "elephant" ears ... ugly but really effective

Re: W-i-d-e mirrors

Larry: these are new--plastic mounts & housings. Your pic didn't load, but that sounds like what I have--the metal-framed towing mirrors. Mine are the rectangular 6x9" ones, with a 4" spot above them.

THAT'S IT! The Velvac 2020, as used on many RV's. Cool--hey, I might get a raise outta this!

Then again, maybe not, when he sees the price.
