What to do until your van has arrived?????

While waiting for my new van to arrive I have encountered the following problems:

1. Ford dealer has my picture with a circle and slash thru it. 2. My neighbors run the other way when they see me. 3. the dog won't listen to me any more. 4. My wife has accused me of spending too much time on the internet looking at van goodies. 5. My friends are always busy when i want to talk about vans. 6. The guy at the custom parts place has accused me of not having a home.

What i want to know, is this normal or do I have have a right to feel rejected??

Re: What to do until your van has arrived?????

Ordering a chip for your van is a good way to pass the time. I just installed a Superchip standard chip on my 96E350 Super Club Wagon with over 100,000 miles on it. A little pain to get to the ecm but well worth the effort. Much stronger off the line and midrange. Much crisper shifts too. I can't wait to take my first trip and see how it does pulling a 3000 lb trailer. I got the chip from a fellow lister, Jeff Tarrant. Nice guy, quick response. I had to have something to make up for the lack of an intercooler and to keep my interest in my van untill the 2002 or so 6.0 PSD is installed. I was going to sell my current van before 100,000 miles for a new one, but it is doing so well and they haven't upgraded our motor so I decieded to keep it . The chip makes me feel like I have a new motor already.

VRTMICHAEL"
A super chip sounds good but as yet no one makes it for the 2000, at least i have yet to find one availiable.
I was thinking about a trans temp, and a boost/pyro combo gage in a "A" piller mount to start with and get a baseline before trying any kind of mods to increase the horsepower.

Hotwheels:
You need to make sure your priority number for the van order is moved to the highest level or else your wife and dog will leave you and the Ford dealer will be forced to shut their doors. If you stay at your current pace the computer will freeze up next and Ctrl-alt-delete will not function. You may become well known for starting the Y2K bug. WE HOPE YOU GET YOUR VAN SOON!

I would have thought the chip was the same since the engine hasn't been changed since the PS was first put in the van. You might get the ecm code and send that to Superchip and see if it matches their ecms.
