Re: what rear axel do you have?

JMD4x4,to my knowledge, all Ford vans have been using Dana 60 semi or full float rear axles for awhile. All I know is my 1994 Ford E-250 van has the semi float Dana 60 with rear drum brakes so Ford probably changed after this date to the rear brake rotor design.
My 2000 E-350 features a full float Dana 60 with rear brake rotors.
I'am replacing my Dana 60 with a custom built Dana 80 axle assy. with ARB air locker and will probably sell my Dana 60 once I rebuild it.

Also, keep in mind that Ford started using Dana 60 semi float axles in all E-350 cargo vans starting in 2001. The E-350's used to have full float axles but leave it to the Ford bean counters to cheapen things up.
