WHAT'S NEXT FOR 05?

I was wondering what will F**d do to make the vans look different for 2005 model year(besides the 6.0 and transmission) which they havent done already.I was reading somewhere that F**d is planning a remodeling for the E series.Did anyone see the pick up truck F**d has waiting in the wings, they call it the TONKA i think. That would be outrageous if they did something along those lines for the E-series.
Personally i think that F**d would change the fenders, hood and grill. It would be nice if they did something with those front *&^%$#@ doors the way they swing out like they do.Anyone have any IDEAS on that subject with the doors i mean you guys can figure everything else out why not the doors? I liked the old square hood style. You could set a cup of coffee on it.

Check out this link. I am quite sure it's only a concept unless Mark Kovalsky would like to comment.

Re: WHAT'S NEXT FOR 05?

Worm,
I remember that style. The Ford vans looked cool customized also with that body.I kind of didnt like this current style when ford changed over,it took awhile for it to grow on me.

Re: WHAT'S NEXT FOR 05?

Oh great, someone would want a van to look like an F-series..NOT. No original thought in these drawings, just crop off the front of an F-series tonka wantabe and stick it on the front of an E-series.
The last thing a van needs is more right angles in the body design. I was over the "tonka" design about the time it came out.
The last thing I want is to have my van look like an F-Series any more than a truck owner wants his/her truck to look like my van.

If Ford is going anywhere near these concept drawings, I'm REALLY glad I bought the 2002.

Re: WHAT'S NEXT FOR 05?

Don't change a thing.

Just put in the new engine and a COOLER.

I'm so sick of pulling with the pyrometer.

Plenty of power, just too #*%#&* hot.

On those days, I long for a 4.10.

It is so nice to unhook my trailer once in awhile and not worry about exhaust temperature all the time.

On second thought, upgrade the tow package to a real Cl V hitch so it could hold what we can already pull.
