Man I thought I was imagining things when my transmission was shifting all goofy. I thought that it could not be happening on a new truck. So once ford gets my new motor in I guess I should have them look into this as well?

I am still experiencing a shuddering noise and vibration between 70-80 mph under acceleartion. This most often occurs when I am entering a freeway. I had the TSB 11-04-21 applied at the dealership last month, but it has not corrected the problem.

Any suggestions?

Just returned from my dealership. They reprogrammed my tranny per TSB. Activated the DRL feature free of charge. All done efficiently and timely. Special thanks to Cory and his colleague Brad at Ford Customer Service for their interventions and help. Very satisfied.

All,

I've experienced many of these same problems. I recently had TSB 11-7-10 applied which helped with the shift flares...however, I still am experiencing (as of tonight again...)

Check out this thread though...

The unresponsive throttle and lugging may be related to the turbo or PCM/TCM.

2011 transmission shutter

I have had my 2011 F250 diesel for 18 months and now have 32K miles. I noticed when slowing down at a red light but not having to stop because it turned green, when stepping on the peddle the transmission would shutter like it wanted to downshift but wasn't sure. I took it to the dealership to have the leaking water pump replaced ??? and told them of the shutter in the transmission while there. I don't have an answer yet on the transmission as they are still waiting on a new pump to be delivered, Ford said that will fix the shutter. It has been in the shop for a week, when I get it back I will post if it fixed the shuttering or not.

F250 diesel transmission

Just got a call from the dealership, they put the new pump in transmission and now they say it is making new noise. They are going to replace the Torq converter and Flex plate now.

Tranmission

My F250 is still in the shop, Dealership said they had to order more parts for the transmission, some seal that goes between the pump and Torq converter. It went in shop on 10/29/12 and is still there as of 11/07/12. They told me today that they had to break the bolts out of the torq converter to remove it and are replacing the torq converter and flywheel along with the other part in the transmission. I might get it back on11/08/12 if all goes well. This is the second time they have pulled the tranmission since it went in the shop.

F250 4X4 SWB 4DOOR

Got the truck back from dealer today 11/08/2012 water pump replaced and transmission I think is fixed. They replaced the hydraulic pump, seals, torq converter and flywheel. The shutter it had when trying to speed back up after slowing down for a red light seems to be gone for now. All work was done under warranty and free rental car. Very attentive dealership they kept me well informed of progress, parts orders and delivery times and even called to let me know when each part was recieved, the work was done by Cleburne Ford in Cleburne Texas.

My brand new truck had the transmission pump resealed 2x, leaked right after... Be careful and check it for leaking as soon as you get home. I'm still dealing with my truck 2012 F250 Diesel, only 3 months old, transmission been in and out of truck 3x already.... thus more damage and worn parts......

Having the 2-3 shift flares and rough shifts. Asked dealer to perform the TSB 11-7-10 but they are telling me that I will be charged for it. Is that common practice on TSB's?
